From 1928 to the Present
Koço Tradition
Founded by Konstantinos Koço Korostos, a Greek from Imbros, under the name "Moda Park Restaurant," our establishment has been serving at the same location for nearly 100 years. We keep the traditional raki-fish culture alive with fresh seafood and a rich variety of cold and hot mezes. Koço, a favorite of great names in Turkish literature such as Fazıl Hüsnü Dağlarca, Cemal Süreya, and Arif Damar, continues to offer the calmest and most peaceful meyhane (tavern) experience in Kadıköy. Located on the lower floor of our restaurant, the Aya Ekaterini Holy Spring is a living witness to Istanbul's multicultural heritage.
